It is so hard to believe that the time is almost here. Why does the last week go so much more quickly than all the others?
We leave on Sunday, so we will be in Kiev on Monday, but in exactly one week from today, at the time I am currently writing this post, we will have already finished our SDA appointment. Hopefully, both of the girls' files will be there and we will know when we are to depart for their orphanage.
I'm not necessarily looking forward to the ice and snow, but I am looking forward to seeing firsthand all those beautiful churches and buildings that I've only seen in photographs!

I saw a link to your blog on someone elses blog. We were in Ukraine over the summer and adopted 3 siblings ages 4, 6, 9 the youngest is a boy. It was an exciting time, but very emotional. Please enjoy every moment of it. www.johncynadoption.blogspot.com

Safe travels to you. It will certainly be an experience of a lifetime! Enjoy your time with all the kids there. They are all precious. We were in Ukraine at the same time as the Bowlings and we came home with 3 boys (3,5,7)while our older kids (19,21,21)thought we were crazy.
I can still see the faces of the kids we met. Bring extra stuff when you go to the orphanage because you will have a swarm following you and they really appreciate any attention you give them.

We used a wristband like the one in the link when we went on a cruise in 2001. It worked well for us.
