We have our date!

We have our SDA appointment date of June 10! Two weeks from Sunday we will fly out of New York and head to Kiev for our second adoption. We certainly never thought that we would be doing this again just a year after bringing Karina home, but here we are, going after another thirteen year old girl.

How wonderful!!! I am following along and praying for your journey. It must be very exciting to get to go back to Ukraine - we miss it!!! I love your story - that the girl you are going to adopt is getting a second chance - just like God does with us (although infinitely more). What a beautiful picture of God's patient love for us, even when we reject Him at times. Blessings for your adoption!!

Our appointment is also June 10! I have been following your blog since your first adoption last year. Maybe we'll get to meet while in Kiev. I'd love to email and maybe arrange to meet for dinner while still in Kiev. Our email is foreverfamily08@gmail.com.

Dear June,
Thanks for the encouraging notes on my blog. It means a lot since we are here in Ukraine in the downtime part of this process. You asked about Frisbees. I couldn't tell you the name of the store - it was a tiny, little booth within a building with all kinds of different small shops. I think we just lucked out. But Frisbees are great ice breakers and pretty much a novelty over here. It's good to bring them. We are praying for you and for others who are planning to come soon. We've heard about the vote on a moritorium on foreign adoptions coming up soon. Everyone needs to pray about that.
